Italian Literary Translator (Poet-Philosopher)

arickard is finalizing the production of a full-length philosophical artifact (approx. 45,000 words) centered on Internal Architecture and the reclamation of personal sovereignty. This project bypasses the diluted standards of traditional publishing. We are not looking for a linguist to "swap words"; we are seeking a Poet-Philosopher to reconstruct the weight, authority, and psychological resonance of this work into the Italian tongue.

The Individual

You are a native Italian speaker who understands that language is the primary tool for carving out reality. You possess a masterful command of the Italian language—specifically the ability to execute Syntactic Compression. You have the range to draw from the structural gravity of Dante and the surgical economy of Machiavelli, while maintaining a sharp, modern economy stripped of all performative ornament. You do not translate for "readability" or "fluency"; you translate for gravity. You operate with the total discretion of a ghost and the structural precision of an architect.

The Mandate

  • Conceptual Reconstruction: Rebuild the proprietary internal framework using Italian phonetics and logic without softening its visceral authority. This is not a "translation"—it is a reconstruction of concepts in a new tongue.

  • Anti-Flowery Precision: Italian naturally drifts toward the melodic and the verbose. You must aggressively resist this. We require a version of Italian that is dry, lean, and industrial—where every word earns its place and filler is treated as a structural weakness.

  • Aural Command: The English original is rhythmic and commanding. The Italian iteration must mirror this percussive cadence, favoring direct verbs and "hard" consonants over the "elegant" or "flowery" defaults of the language.

  • IP Sanctity: Absolute adherence to the arickard non-disclosure and non-circumvention protocols. The content is unreleased and proprietary; its protection is the baseline of our engagement.

The Standard

We value the Sovereign Individual. We are seeking the scholar-rebel who rejects the sanitized, "polite" constraints of modern translation. You must have the spine to choose a "difficult" or "uncomfortable" word if it is the only one that preserves the uncompromising truth of the text. If you rely on "safe" choices, standard publishing tropes, or people-pleasing prose, we are not a match. We require someone who can defend a single verb with the conviction of a founder. No agencies. No scripts. No fluff.

Initiate Step Zero

This is not a traditional recruitment cycle. To preserve project security, do not send a CV or corporate filler. Submit a brief introductory transmission outlining your alignment with this mandate and how your instincts have protected independent narratives in the past.
