Greek Literary Translator (The Doric Standard)

arickard is entering the final production phase of a full-length philosophical artifact (approx. 45,000 words) centered on Internal Architecture and the reclamation of personal sovereignty. This project bypasses the diluted standards of traditional publishing. We are not seeking a translator to "render" text; we are seeking a Philosopher-King to reconstruct the weight, authority, and psychological resonance of this work into a muscular, high-fidelity Greek. 

The Individual

You are a Cypriot-born native who understands the "Cypriot Soul" but possesses a masterful command of high-level Standard Modern Greek (Kini). You recognize that language is a tool of power. You have the range to draw from the austerity of the Presocratics and the precision of the Stoics. You do not translate for "readability" or "social flow"; you translate for gravity. You operate as a sovereign individual with the structural precision of a stonemason and the total discretion of a sentinel.

The Mandate

  • Etymological Surgery: Reconstruct the proprietary "Internal Architecture" framework using the deep roots of the Greek tongue. Concepts of sovereignty and structure must be forged through the lens of Arche, Logos, and Autarkeia. You must treat every word as a structural component.

  • The Doric Standard: The output must be austere, muscular, and stone-cut. You must aggressively strip the Greek of all modern melodic or flowery sentimentality. We reject the bureaucratic stiffness of Katharevousa and the softness of modern commercial Greek. We require a voice of command.

  • Syntactic Compression: Mirror the English original’s economy. Greek naturally tends to expand; you must fight this. Every word must earn its place. If a phrase does not contribute to the "Internal Architecture" of the thought, it is dead weight and must be excised.

  • IP Sanctity: Absolute adherence to the arickard non-disclosure and non-circumvention protocols. This is unreleased, proprietary material; its protection is the baseline of our engagement.

The Standard

We value the Scholar-Rebel. We are looking for the individual who values the psychological weight of the language over modern publishing convenience. You must have the spine to choose an "ancient" clarity over a "modern" comfort. If you rely on "safe" choices, academic scripts, or people-pleasing prose, we are not a match. We require someone who can defend a single root-word with the conviction of a founder. No agencies. No fluff.
