arickard is entering the final production phase of a high-fidelity project rooted in lived experience. This is a fully sovereign execution, bypassing traditional publishing houses and third-party platforms. We are seeking sharp, intuitive Legal Counsel to act as a sentinel for the project’s integrity.

Primary Jurisdictions

This mandate requires deep, functional knowledge of the Malta, Italy, and Cyprus markets. While UK experience is valued, local sovereignty in these primary markets is non-negotiable. This is a project-based engagement for an experienced lead who operates with total discretion.

The Mandate

  • Media Liability Vetting: Line-by-line review of the material to mitigate risks related to defamation, privacy, and "false light" within a non-fiction, unfiltered narrative.

  • Tactical Anonymization: Strategic guidance on cloaking identities and events while maintaining the uncompromising integrity of the story.

  • IP Fortification: Formalizing copyright and trademark protections for the work, the overarching brand, and its custom visual assets as a standalone entity.

  • Contractual Oversight: Scrutinizing manufacturing, printing, and private distribution/payment agreements to ensure 100% founder-control and zero IP leakage.

  • Strategic Advisory: Providing ongoing counsel on broader protection levels for the founder, including risk insulation, media liability insurance strategy, and contingency planning for the project’s release.
